The ten combos side by side

Spinning pads or a roller?

Spinning pads scrub as they turn. Consumer Reports’ tester Paolo Fu says models with “spinning mop heads that agitate stains tend to clean more effectively” (June 22, 2026).

A roller turns all the time while a squeegee pulls the dirty water off, so it keeps rinsing itself as it goes, as Vacuum Wars describes it (Oct 14, 2026). Four of the robots here use a roller: SwitchBot S20, ECOVACS DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI, ECOVACS DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone, eufy Omni S2.

If you have rugs too

A combo has to keep wet mops off your rugs. The eufy Omni S2 lifts its mop the highest of the robots here, 1.1 in, by its maker’s figure.
